SYNOPSIS
“Quite clearly, our task is predominantly metaphysical, for it is how to get all of humanity to educate itself swiftly enough to generate spontaneous social behaviors that will avoid extinction.” Buckminster Fuller

FALL & WINTER is a survival guide for the global crisis created by our unsustainable industrial civilization. In this stunningly shot documentary we hear from a diverse constellation of active thinkers; people engaged in a wide spectrum of actions necessary to transcend our current paradigm and give birth to a new human culture. We fly over mile-deep mining pits, bear witness to the devastation of the Gulf oil spill, and wander through clear-cut sites in northern California to face the costs of our modern way of life. In contrast, the natural world is explored in all of its hypnotic beauty where we find a variety of visionaries helping us return to harmony with nature.
